Sebastian Zavala Kahn Más Gamers It may not be a revolution for the franchise, but at least, it feels less generic and less lazy than its predecessors. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 30, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member The greatest 01 hour: and 30 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member LOL, it's full of funny jokes and pranks, original content, kissing scenes, and action-packed sequences ever invented and dubbed with an English voice cast and optional English subtitles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ages 7 and older, but I am still in love with the franchise celebrated all over the globe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved the series, etc. since 1998 until now, and I still love the original voice of Ikue Otani as Pikachu. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Reshiram is awesome! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Surprisingly well-rounded and polished, this movie (or pair of movies) stands out as a relative gem among the Pokémon movies. It does justice to the main themes of the Black/White era of Pokémon (Generation 5) - exploring the moral grey areas that had yet to be explicitly addressed by the franchise. Much like the games led the player to confront the seeming enslavement of Pokémon, the movie confronts the tensions between high-thinking idealism and day-to-day practicality. It's unfortunate this is so "late", now at number 14 of the long line of sequels; early fans would have been served well if this were Generation 2 rather than Generation 5. As always, the movies tend to require some familiarity with at least the anime, and preferably the games as well. The ending does tend to return to the more mundane simplistic roots, but it is forgivable after this movie finally delivers a few more shades of gray to the more mature fans.
