Martin Tsai Los Angeles Times The filmmakers forget the fundamentals of B-movie 101: Skin-baring spring breakers make for the most qualified carnage. Apr 17, 2014 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X For those looking for something scary or funny or campy or some combination thereof, the recommendation here is to keep searching. Rated: D+ Jan 15, 2019 Full Review Witney Seibold Nerdist At the end of the day, Poseidon Rex is not a good film. Its cheapness and corny clichs are too powerful to ignore. But Poseidon Rex is a sincere film, and that can go a long, long way. Rated: 2.5/5 Apr 21, 2014 Full Review Cliff Wheatley IGN Movies Poseidon Rex is boring with few laughs to be had, be they genuine or at the expense of the cast and crew. Han M Wonderful shots and cgi, the deaths were the best in the movie. I cried when Harry died though 😢! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Typical Sci-Fy movie. Cute girls digital monsters. Not bad but not good. It passed the time Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Worst B movie I have ever seen. The acting is atrocious and all the special effects are a joke! Completely a waste of time that I will never get back!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Please skip this one. It's pretty much the worst possible version of Jurassic Park set at sea crossed with Piranha. The characters are inconsistent and out of place, oddly motivated, and there enough technical problems with the audio alone to qualify it for a bad movie night, let alone the CG. I actually had to turn this off after about 30 minutes of nothing happening. Please skip. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member É uma maravilha, só acho que podiam ter feito um final diferente. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Was a big Charmed fan so Brian Krause Being in this was funny. If you don't know what I'm talking about you're much cooler then me and should skip the rest of this review. The story starts with divers finding a single gold coin and letting a large water dinosaur out. The rest of the movie is trying to find treasure and fighting a giant lizard. Brian helped produce the movie and is the star. He's the best actor of the movie and it's down hill from there. The special effects are terrible like copy and paste files. Film shots from only one side of the car, never a view from above in the water, pretty funny weird angles. My favorite part was the single song they licensed and used in six different unrelated scenes. It's how you know it's party time. Still wonder if that guy in the song got the girls number... About now I should mention I love crap movies and this is one. I imagine Brian had a house payment to make so he did a job to get it done. Then padded that career IMDb with a producing credit. Good business if people like me are the only ones watching this garbage. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
