Ralph P A wild, chaotic ride! The whole concept—just a guy trying to get a customer service rep to do him a solid while his life completely implodes—is both hilarious and a bit heartbreaking. The low budget works in its favor, keeping everything so close and intense that you feel like you’re right in the middle of Phil’s meltdown. The twists are where this movie really hooks you. Just when you think Phil’s just unlucky, it reveals layers to his motivations that make you rethink who you’re rooting for. The fact that it’s based on true events only adds to the shock value. Definitely a hidden gem for fans of dark comedy. You might cringe, you might laugh, but you won’t look away. A solid 5 stars! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/04/24 Full Review Jeff T This movie was fantastic! Phil is an absolute mess, and you can’t help but root for him to get his life together, but instead, you watch as he spirals further down. It’s a tragedy, yet somehow it’s also really funny! So many relatable moments are woven in, from dealing with frustrating customer service to the everyday annoyances of texting and package deliveries. But everything is cranked up to a whole new, absurd level, with plenty of unexpected twists. The acting and characters are spot on, and since the writer also directed, edited, and produced it, you get a clear, focused vision throughout. Definitely worth checking out on Apple TV! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/02/24 Full Review Joshua T This was and exciting and hilarious story. Nonstop fun! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/02/24 Full Review Timmie B This movie was awesome. Phil is such a mess and you really want him to get it together but instead you watch him spiral deeper and deeper! This movie is a tragedy, but somehow it's also funny! There is a lot to identify with in this movie mainly in the frustration of dealing with customer service agents and situations with texting and package delivery. But it all goes to the next most insane level - there were quite a few unexpected surprises. The acting and characters were all great. The writer is also the director is also the editor and I believe producer - so the whole movie is very focused as one person's vision. It's on Roku! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/30/23 Full Review M A This kept me fully invested all the way through, great little film and all the better (worse?) for being a true story! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/17/23 Full Review Steve M Great film, well directed and dark comedy. Great cast and kind of on the side Philip. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
