corkball Its ok for a brainless watch. There is a farfetched recycled plotline with the wake up in a bathtub without your kidney trope. Basically this IS the movie Jean Claude is making at the beginning of 'JCVD' that makes him look back and lament upon his life choices. The movie is a little more retrospective than his usual stuff, but 95% of the movie is throwaway generic action flick. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I think most of us all saw the plot twist coming. It was fairly easy to spot early on. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/01/22 Full Review Audience Member Jean Claude wakes up in the bathtub without a kidney - like every horror tale from high school. And then...can't really remember. Just a bunch of driving around and Jean hitting people. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Ever watch a movie with bad writing and acting but realise you enjoyed the movie? this is one of those for me. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/18/20 Full Review Audience Member Rubbish...despite the fact I like JCVD earlier stuff Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review steve d A return to form Van Damme. Strong action and a bit of heart. Obviously cheep but entertaining none the less. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Dennis Harvey Variety Conceptually pedestrian but decently handled in all departments. Jun 1, 2015 Full Review Adam Nayman AV Club It's not enough for Pound Of Flesh to be likable. Its existence isn't an affront to the God its characters keep talking about, but it's not exactly a reason for giving thanks, either. Rated: C+ May 14, 2015 Full Review Charles Bramesco The Dissolve The script endlessly delays the film's grungy setpieces with scenes of moral turgidity Rated: 1.5/5 May 13, 2015 Full Review Grant Watson Fiction Machine Its script is terrible, its production values are weak, and there is a lackadaisical streak running through the film so overt that it borders on having contempt for its audience. Despite this, I enjoyed myself. Rated: 3/10 Jun 27, 2022 Full Review Stephen O'Nion One Room With A View This is a fairly unremarkable film that happens to star Jean-Claude Van Damme. Rated: 2/5 May 7, 2019 Full Review Andrew Pollard Starburst Van Damme hounds will lavish their pennies on, although many may end up with a little less action than they're used to.
