As with Kimi and Unsane, Soderbergh occasionally has more fun with the constraints than we do. There’s nothing as compelling or creepy as Kristen Stewart’s dance with the unseen in Personal Shopper.

Soderbergh's pacing is perfect in this movie and his camera work really helps tell this story. The acting is excellent by the entire cast. If you like ghost stories, and even if you don't, this is a good one.

The twists were unexpected, I never guessed what would happen next the whole way through, and the few red herrings worked themselves expertly into the plot. This is more of a psychological thriller/family drama than pure horror, and I really liked it.

This concept of it being the spirit’s POV is so cool & had so much potential. It would’ve been great if 90% of the film wasn’t boring. The entirety of the film sets up a climax that seemed to last 30 seconds & ended up being lackluster.
