I don't how any one can give this movie less than a 4 star review it is exactly what it appears to be, Pride and Prejudice with zombies. If I had 1 complaint, and I do, I wish the zombies changed the Pride and Prejudice storyline more.

The professional critics always get it incorrect. They do not know good from bad. They are complete snobs and think they are always right. This book was amazing and it translated well into a motion picture. Simply an amazing adaptation of Pride and Prejudice...staying very true to its origins...and simply including a zombie apocalypse. Perfect.

This movie is a must watch for anyone who likes horror, and/or fantasy. It's very similar to "Abraham Lincoln vampire killer". Who knew that you could throw a monster into a classic tale, and have it work so well. We need a sequel!!!!!

Pride And Prejudice es una de las obras más emblemáticas en el mundo de la literatura clásica, pero hacer una especie de parodia orientada en un apocalipsis zombie es algo extraño. Aunque la parodia escrita en 2009 tiene una cierta aceptación, esta película es un caso extraño. La historia es la misma de la obra original, pero orientado en una era victoriana donde se ha desatado una plaga zombie. Al principio, la película promete ser un thriller de acción, pero no es así. La trama está más orientada a la novela original que parodia y tiene muy poca acción. La producción y el vestuario son espectaculares ofreciendo ese toque victoriano que tanto caracteriza la obra. El maquillaje de los zombies es aceptable incluso, pero los zombies no parecen tener mucha relevancia. De hecho, la película pudo haber ofrecido una buena combinación de drama victoriano y acción con elementos de horror zombie, pero la película no aprovecha eso. No ofrece una buena dosis de acción y horror para que la película sea lo que se supone que debería ser. En vez de eso, Pride + Prejudice + Zombies es solo otra adaptación de la obra clásica, cuya única diferencia es haber incluido zombies y humor negro. La plaga zombie se queda algo corta y se sintió como algo innecesario de agregar en una adaptación de Pride And Prejudice. Logra mantener la elegancia y el romance de la obra conocida, pero si se hubiera orientado un poco más a la acción y al apocalipsis zombie que se aplicó, hubiera sido una película más prometedora en vez de ser solo otra adaptación más de la obra clásica. Lo más probable es que hubiera mejorado en una secuela o quizás no. Mi calificación final para esta película es un 7/10.
