Bill D So much to tell, and told so well. I'm a little biased maybe, but all I do is watch documentaries, and this one rocks. The soundtrack was awesome, and timed flawlessly. Hopefully someone uses this for training, like it should be. Firefighters need to know what happened, so they can't ever do it again. Talk about brothers, these guys stay in contact daily since finally finding each other again. 35 years later and it's like they never got separated. This deserves to go like wildfire, once it's streaming. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/28/25 Full Review Scott b If you love wildland firefighters- a must see. Heart warming and heart wrenching all at the same time. Bill, Patrick, Geoffrey, Greg, Steven tell their harrowing story of courage and redemption. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/24/25 Full Review Steve P Never a dull moment. I learned much more about wildland fire-fighters and fire-fighting. Beautiful Arizona scenery. The musical score was surprisingly well-done. A very encouraging history of wildfire-fighting's evolution over the last 35 years. I was outraged by the treatment of prisoner volunteer fire-fighters by the Dept. of Corrections. I can only hope that doesn't happen these days. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/25/25 Full Review Jeff K This is a well documented movie and a beautiful dedication to those that gave the ultimate sacrifice. Great Job Scott and most if all THANK YOU!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/23/25 Full Review Spike D Great documentary about the Dude Fire. I knew some of the history. But I learned a lot about its significance in the fire community. I think I enjoyed hearing the stories from the survivors themselves about the fire and what followed. What a great group of people. I met several of them. My dad, Mike Johns, was a wildland fire fighter. Payson Hotshot. He talked about this fire all the time, and wrote a report about it. I actually learned a little more about his involvement in the investigation We actually provided some material to the director. My dad would have loved this. Our family is very greatful to learn that he wasn’t the only one keeping the memory alive. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/19/25 Full Review Ashley C It was great to see the survivors get the honor they deserved. It was very cool to meet them in person. They will go down in history as heroes.
