This movie was so cringey that I couldn’t watch it in one sitting. It at some points genuinely made me feel ill. I was blown away when I saw that people gave this movie good reviews. I love romance and cutesy movies, they are my favourites, but I couldn’t with this one. The montage at the end was the best part however I love all montages.

I may be a tad biased because I’ve been a fan of both Grant Gustin and Lucy Hale for a long time, but I can honestly say Puppy Love is one of the best RomComs I’ve seen in a long time. The trailer presented it like it was just another predictable ultra-corny movie, but it exceeded my expectations and then some. Yes, the plot was predictable (as any good RomCom should be); but the development of the main characters helped keep it grounded in a sense of reality, which I think kept it from being super corny. All in all, highly recommend, especially for my fellow dog people.
