This is one of those love stories with strange, yet realistic characters, Wilder's character, Quackser sells manure and he falls in love with a college student. I didn't know what I was getting into with this movie, and I found the beginning kinda boring and weird, but when I got to know Quackser better, I could relate to his problems. The ending wasn't what I expected, and it was a bit disappointing, but on the other hand it's just as quirky as the rest of the movie. Overall, it's a pretty good romantic comedy, but it could have been funnier.

Light 1970 comedy with a touch of romance from Gene Wilder, had it come out in Hong Kong at the time, its Chinese title could have been "åäººæåç¦".
