Cary Darling Houston Chronicle 01/30/2020
2.5/5
It's a little-known bit of history that first-time features director Matthew Rosen...brought to the screen in a straightforward, efficient film that may not win many plaudits for style or acting but has a story that's never less than fascinating. Go to Full Review

The story is a real-life political chess game with the makings of a gripping race-against-the-clock thriller; but here it drags out into sluggish, dull and unconvincing melodrama. Go to Full Review

It may not always qualify as great cinema, but when it comes to presenting a fascinating, emotionally rewarding history lesson, you'll be hanging on every scene. Go to Full Review

"Quezon's Game" is both a very important and a very well-directed, shot and acted film and a must see for every fan of historical-political films. Go to Full Review
Rosalynn Try-Hane Liquid Marmalade 02/03/2020
The film doesn't really pack the emotional punch it should on screen. Instead it goes at a gentler pace and never really manages to capture on the edge of your seat tension. Go to Full Review

Quezon's Game is a compelling labor of love, in part because it's a thrilling story, but also because of the leading man. Go to Full Review

Steve 02/25/2020 A truly powerful story that needs to be seen and shared! See more Vicky 02/16/2020 I loved this movie! It was so interesting to learn about such an important part of history that few people are aware of about WII. See more Felicidad Valiente 02/13/2020 Very good movie. It enriched my knowledge in Philippine history. See more Rocky Mountain Sparrow 02/04/2020 Great story, glad we saw it and will recommend it, despite a poor acting job by the brother who left to go back to USA. We were glad when he left the movie because his acting was a distraction from a good story. One other criticism was all the cigar smoking - what did that really add to the film? A few scenes sure, but it went on throughout the film, to a distraction. Other than that, it was a compelling story that we enjoyed watching and will recommend to friends.
