Scott Weinberg DVDTalk.com Bad horror movies are one thing, but bad horror movies that exploit real-life murders to make a few bucks... Ugh, that's just creepy. Rated: 1/5 Feb 7, 2006 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member What sells is true crime stories a look into the mind of notorious serial killers The Zodiac Killer,Ed Gein,Dear Mr Gacy from the perspective of those who investigate and eventual caught while those who have never been caught and brought to justice The Zodiac Killer,Jack The Ripper further more The Town That Dread Sundown is the first loosely based on true crime movie in 1976 in 1946 in Texarkana Moonlight Murders he was never caught some spectated that he may have been the Zodiac killer or that he was ether caught and put in jail for another crime. They remade the movie beside also when it comes to the novel like The Zodiac there was another Zodiac movie called Curse Of The Zodiac .The surviving family members get paid each time a film is based on a true story often they will complete change the name of victims names to protect the living and the dead .The Green River killer,Ted Bundy and countless other real life even Manson Family murders all have been then you have a few vs movies.Bonnie and Clyde was also turned into movies the most infamous and notorious the last film based on them was Highway Men telling the story of how Rangers and law enforcement took down the couple.Movies based on real life events take a few liberties change names to protect they do pay the victim families to tell the story. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/21/25 Full Review Audience Member Brilliant work by Clifton Collins Jr, and of course Brittany Daniels was the looker, more than a professional psychologist.. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review don s I was hoping for some insight into the mind of a serial killer. What I got was endless drug use (even by the psychiatrist and the asst. district attorney), gratuitous nudity and promiscuity. The focus was more on the shrink, and there was very little about the killer. Nothing positive to say about this movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Classy, stylish, alternate take on the famous serial killer case. I liked this direct to DVD independent better than The Hillside Strangler. A police psychiatrist is assigned to render a confession, but instead decides to mind-probe a shady suspect who may or may not be the victim of a frame, and who may or may not be who he claims to be . Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member this movie was great, my friend told me she already knew the end.. i never expected it but oh well it was entertaining Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Good acting but should've kept the camera still. However a decent throwback to exploitation films if that's what they were going for. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
