Mark Kermode Kermode & Mayo's Film Review It is an odd experience, and I wonder what it would be like if I hadn't seen the original...a strange comedy in a remote area...but well-worth checking out... Feb 11, 2021 Full Review Larushka Ivan-Zadeh Metro Newspaper (UK) Watching Neill coo 'you are beautiful, no, you are beautiful' to his flock is entertainment factor alone but this is an unexpectedly lovely little film. Rated: 4/5 Feb 11, 2021 Full Review Mike D'Angelo AV Club Same fundamental idea, weaker execution. Rated: C+ Feb 6, 2021 Full Review Kevin Woodley InSession Film Neill and Caton complement each other terrifically, their fiery partnership sells the entire film. Rated: B Apr 3, 2024 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation A bit all over the place, introducing characters and possible story threads that it abandons...But the leads and the lovely scenery make up for some of that. Rated: 2.5/4 Dec 6, 2021 Full Review Alex Behan Stuff.co.nz It's funny and sad, but with feel-good vibes, and I know this is a terrible, intentional pun but - it's a really good yarn. KB B This was such a good movie with great acting and storyline. I prefer action or sci-fi but I can appreciate a good drama/comedy for a change of pace. It's definitely worth the watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/10/24 Full Review Rico T I very much enjoyed Sam Neill's part in this move - I found it difficult to recognize him in this movie. Nice, watchable movie that blends the tragedy that can strike peoples lives with a beautiful impression of how they survive it. Toughness and tenderness all in one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/20/23 Full Review Noel F The extent of silence and rejection between the brothers seemed exaggerated as did the agent's acting. The storyline and difficulties of the families was heart wrenching and well presented. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/22/23 Full Review david b Poignant comical brilliant relevant and overall a great watch I thoroughly enjoyed this movie from the beginning to the very end Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/10/23 Full Review Queen M So loveley. A heartearming and touching story. Perfect cast and beautiful sheep. No seriously it is ver worthwhile watching! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/16/23 Full Review Georgan G Interesting on so many levels, this film portrays 2 brothers who haven't spoken in 40 years. Well acted and written. Love being slowly given hints as to what their divide was related to. And the very best ending. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
