Charm is one of the biggest factors when evaluating an animated film. Not many animated movies come close to Rango's charm. From the music to the art direction to the scenery to the humor to the heroes and villains, Rango warms the audience with its immense charm. I can't recommend this movie enough.

With a unique narrative and amazing animation, Rango does something unheard of and something rare in modern animation: It makes something that literally every age can and will enjoy. Piled beneath a catchy and fitting score, and wonderful writing, lies a richly layered story about destiny and finding destiny (Or rather, having destiny find you.) You should watch it.

Surprisingly well written for an animated movie about a cowboy lizard. I watched this movie as a kid and liked it but revisiting it in my 20s has made this one of my favorite animated movies ever. Would highly recommend
