Admittedly, the CGI rat isn't great and the energy drops whenever Sheridan or Walliams are offscreen, but kids will love the mix of gross-out comedy with a nice message about the importance of friends, loyalty and believing in yourself.

It feels like it was ripped directly from a Roald Dahl story (especially 'The Rat Catcher') but some elements which he would usually be very careful about are exploited and yet it somehow still feels like it doesn't go dark enough.

Ratburger is a superbly funny British comedy with a Happy Ending and a heroic dancing rat called Armitage. It's an adaptation from David Walliams' children's book of the same name.

CGI is terrible, jokes don't land ever! David walliams should probably return to adult comedy, and stop writing such trash! 1 star would put less.

while the acting is badly done by most characters the plot is funny,as in the book and the additions they made in the movie are good especilally the one in the end.Overall if the acting was better would be 4.5
