Audience Member Imagine an amateur theater company putting on a bizarre Grand Guignol costume drama. No need to imagine it ... here it is. The sheer weirdness of watching these mediocre, but not terrible, actors act out this histrionic bit of weirdness involving a family of werewolves carries this film for quite a well. But it's just to talky to sustain interest for more than a half hour, after which the incredibly shoddy cheapness takes over. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Spoilers Ahead.... Maybe? Like a few other people, the movie's title is the thing that made me want to see it in the 1st place. With a title like The Rats Are Coming! The Werewolves Are Here! I hoped or expected it to be a good movie but I was completely wrong.Nothing & I mean NOTHING happened the whole movie. The whole movie from start to finish was just a bunch of people talking. The only thing that sticks out for me & the only thing I remember was the scene where the lady stabs the rat & then nails it to the board.I read on a couple different sites that it was an actual rat that was used & not a fake. That & the final scene were the only parts of the movie where something happened & even then that was really nothing. After watching this flick I just felt like I wasted a bunch of time.I could've been doing something more productive or watched something better.Still I'm glad I watched it, Just to say I watched it.The Rats Are Coming! The Werewolves Are Here is a movie I would NOT sit through & watch a 2nd time Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Mental movie.....makes plan 9 from outer space look like citizen kane. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Unfortunately for Andy Milligan, this is one of his most frustratingly bad movies. With a title like The Rats Are Coming! The Werewolves Are Here!, you would think that it would have at least some unintentional comedy to it, but it's more or less a very bad play. A lot of Andy Milligan's work is like that (at least, what I've seen of it), but this one doesn't hold much value to it at all. I was also a bit disgusted by the torture and murder of a live mouse on camera. I usually don't get offended by things like that but there isn't even a build-up to it to prepare you for it. It just kind of happens, without cutting away, and it's shocking. It's surrounded by incredibly gargantuan amounts of sleep-inducing dialogue spoken by some of the ugliest people you're likely to ever see in a movie. The bottom line is that it's pretty awful, and you're not missing anything by skipping it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Hell, I'd give this one five stars on the title alone, but the actual film itself is unfortunately pretty dull. Starts off interesting but quickly loses steam before limping into an incomprehensible finale. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member I've found the worst film ever made! Brown, pointless, and ridiculously talky, the film would be amusingly awful, save for a scene where a live mouse is tortured and killed. Folks, a hundred films like this aren't worth the life of even one disease-spreading vermin. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
