These aren’t kitchen-sink movies; they’re garbage disposal rejects, alloys composed of leftover scraps. And the viewers who are supposed to see themselves in these tough-as-nails characters deserve better.

It runs mostly through the motions, decrescendoing after every kill into a cyclical thrill ride. Avoiding spoilers, the sequel only veers in a new direction toward the end, but this twist comes after the story flatlines.

Ready or Not 2 continues the light-hearted, bloody humor of the first film, anchored by a committed performance from Weaving. Themes of a world controlled by the ultra-wealthy have only become more relevant in the 6 years since the original’s release.

Understand that this is a satanic movie with a twist (using an old neighborhood game hide and seek) as a way to enter into a cinematic universe to express how it is ok to produce movies like this so it’s not as bad as we think it is, the movie was good but to think it was another twist to say it is not satanic it was more of just a game and that it was fake but this was more of a digital platform release I don’t think there is going to be a part 3 unless they start it over with a new story I bought my ticket for 7 bucks so I’m not upset at the money spent but it was a decent movie !
