Justin T This is even crazier than the previous film. The characters are relentlessly mad. The story never slows down, always adding something unexpected. All of these factors add up to a very engaging and entertaining film although you would struggle to call it good. The special effects are nearly constant and consistently bad. They are so cheesy. This adds to the charm but takes away from the quality. Special highlights (or lowlight) are the caterpillar going down the teacher’s top and the raft sliding down a waterslide. The new kaiju is interesting. This is more of an adventure film though like The Goonies (1985) rather than a Godzilla film. It has a forgettable plot and the characters were not as fun as first film (I'm not talking about the original Mothra from 1961). Moll, Lora and Mothra leo are still fun in the movie, but they couldn't save the whole movie. I can't wait to watch the third sequel. This is better then Rebirth of Mothra which is the 9th Mothra movie. The 11th Mothra movie Rebirth of Mothra III is better. See all the Mothra movies they are great movies.
