Justin T 07/22/2024 This is even crazier than the previous film. The characters are relentlessly mad. The story never slows down, always adding something unexpected. All of these factors add up to a very engaging and entertaining film although you would struggle to call it good. The special effects are nearly constant and consistently bad. They are so cheesy. This adds to the charm but takes away from the quality. Special highlights (or lowlight) are the caterpillar going down the teacher’s top and the raft sliding down a waterslide. The new kaiju is interesting. This is more of an adventure film though like The Goonies (1985) rather than a Godzilla film.
