Audience Member Wow. Where to begin. First off I didn't realize this was a sequel until I came here to review. It's possible some of the confusion might have been cleared up had I seen the 1st one - but not likely. There's not much that made sense here. Some fat disgusting sado dude with cameras everywhere they need to be... wait - let me back this up. A 5/10 guy quits his job - gives up his lease - and buys a junk yard with a disgusting trailer on the property in the hopes of building some kind of paradise for him and fiance (9/10) - but he doesn't tell her. It's a surprise. Shockingly, she's not happy about it. (back to the start now) So this sado dude kidnaps the girlfriend and informs the boyfriend that he must kill everyone who comes on the property or he'll kill the girlfriend. The thing is, he's already cut off her legs and arms (by the looks of it - it's hard to tell) so it seems the Rubican has already been crossed. But shithead boyfriend doesn't hesitate - in fact he quickly (and I mean quickly) throws together steel outfit to wear. Not sure why but it looks a bit cool, I don't mind admitting. He embraces the job of killing everyone (and there's lots to kill) Despite being two hours away from anywhere, a steady stream of folks show up. Even a pair of armed cops arrive. He dispenses of these well trained professionals with no problem. The only ones to manage to escape are 3 dipshit backwoods fuck heads who are there to rob the place. You want to see them get theirs - but no - not a scratch. If you're looking for some satisfaction here - don't bother. The bad guys all get away. And the protagonists are utterly ineffective. Oh - and there's a ghost but she is inexplicably on the side of the Sado dude. And there's small earthquakes motivated by what, I can't guess. The torture porn is show in brief flashes and looks somewhat effective but the flashes are so poorly lit and fast that it's almost impossible to actually make out what the hell is actually going on. The film maker was clearly missing some key shots in there as well. That can happen. I sympathize with that but if you insist on watching this movie after reading this review - be prepared for some missing time. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A sleazy piece of filmmaking, like its predecessor, Reborn again delivers on the slummy gore, but it still lacks anything to make it truly memorable.... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie really isn't all that great. Again: I love their idea...but the way they filmed it was just horrible. And they have to have a better villian than this fat, humerous dude...He's not even scary. If your making a horror movie, you have to make the antagonist scary, creepy, sadistic, or else it won't be that good. Anyways, I did give it some credit due to the blood\gore scenes, but that's really the only good thing in here. I was disapointed with this film, and i think they could've done better. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Turned this movie off after 15 minutes. It was that bad. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Larry the Cable Guy takes over the role of Jigsaw in this rip-off of the "Saw" franchise. The plot, such as it is: a couple buys a junkyard, not knowing that a series of killings took place there a few years before. Squirreled away somewhere in the mess is a huge, sweaty redneck who likes to torture people using items found lying around a typical garage. He kidnaps the wife, straps her into a chair, and blackmails the husband into killing whomever comes onto the property. The husband gets shot in the face during a robbery attempt, goes crazy, builds himself a suit of armor, and kills people with a sword. Pretty thin stuff, aside from the obese redneck torture-master. What's really strange is how people in this film turn insane when they get injured. What's even stranger is that this dull and derivative torture flick ever got made. There's an attempt to make it interesting by having the husband/killer build himself a suit of armor that he bolts directly onto his body, but the gimmick doesn't go very far and, aside from making him look like a baseball catcher in a spiky can, it doesn't figure into the events in the film. He does now how to open his eyes really, really wide and not blink for extended periods, so he's got that going for him. Leave this one in the junkyard. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Simplely horrible. Didnt even watch it all the way through. Whoever thought up this story line should be the one to have all his limbs cut off and whoever cast is clearly blind. No one wants tosee the ugly, I think it was a chick, naked. Really it was gross. Deffinatly lacked imagination. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
