Alex Claremont-Diaz (Taylor Zakhar Perez), the son of the President of the United States (Uma Thurman), and Britain's Prince Henry (Nicholas Galitzine) have a lot in common: Stunning good looks, undeniable charisma, international popularity... and a total disdain for each other. Separated by an ocean, their long-running feud hasn't really been an issue, until a disastrous--and very public--altercation at a royal event becomes tabloid fodder, driving a potential wedge in U.S./British relations at the worst possible time. It's an incredible movie, very fun to see; the acting is golden. Nicholas and Taylor gave this movie what everyone who read the book wanted (YES, IT HAS A BOOK!! READ IT!!!). I'm so happy we are getting a sequel because we deserve it, watch it!!!

I was recommended this movie, and it did not disappoint. I love seeing a modern twist, and the fight for love. There were some hilarious moments, that really had me laughing. I must say it was a bit long, and I multiple times I thought it was the end. But definitely worth a watch.

I read the book a couple of years ago, and could only remember the film's main points, but oh how it did not disappoint. The film manages to create many of the same feelings as when I read the book, and it really honors the craftmanship of the book. Feelings of hope for young love, the anguish of having others dictate your life, and the dream of living life as your true self are only a brief description of how I feel right now. The film contains lots of humor and you find yourself giggling over the cuteness of the actors. It's really worth a recommendation - and who doesn't love the drama between the USA and Britain?
