In the process of writing and recording the album "Accelerate" in 2007, Athens, Ga., alt-rock pioneers R.E.M. (Michael Stipe, Peter Buck, Mike Mills) staged five rehearsal shows at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin. There they debuted and refined new songs, providing insight into the musical process. This concert film features 18 songs from those performances, including early versions of "Accelerate" tracks, as well as past hits from the band's nearly 30-year-long career.
