After stabilizing the first refugee crisis, accompanied by a number of terrorist attacks, all the citizens of the Free European Federation got a new constitutional law that guarantees "One whole life to live". With a new technology, everyone has the right of recovery in case of an unnatural death. In this society, "absolute" murder is nearly impossible. Ambitious detective Emma Trochinowska (27) has to solve a murder of a married couple. But the restoration team was able to bring only one of them back to life. Together they try to hunt down the murderer and find out if the second chance, which now is available to everyone, isn't just another easily exploitable instrument that tries to solve the consequences instead of the cause itself.
