Marlon M I've seen a lot of movies this year and to be honest with you guys, 2016 has been one of the worst as far as theatrical features go. Most of the best movies I've seen have been on Netflix and/or independent features such as RETURNED I've discovered through word of mouth. I liked RETURNED a lot and even more than that, respect and admire it for what it is. It gave me my money's worth in terms of entertainment value and didn't waste my time and that's all I ask of any movie. I truly was delighted to see a fully African American Sci-Fi movie!!! We do not have enough of them. It was so creative!!! The make up was well done, the actors seemed very professional, no unnecessary scenes, fairly decent shots and effects. For what I imagine wasn't a huge budget this was amazing.
