Audience Member A documentary for movie enthusiasts that will serve as a photograph of how things were in 2013. I wish they could interview more poeole who made VHS happened and people who maybe don't support collecting just to have another perspective. Now I know here Red Letter Media got his Best of the Worst opening animation Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a fun documentary regarding the impact and memories folks have about video cassettes. It felt like about ten more minutes could have been cut from it, but it's a lot of fun overall! It made me miss the old days as a teen when I'd go up and down the horror aisles at Movies Galore and AZ Video! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member A snappy passion project capturing the love & success of the VHS revolution & what it opened up for Film Lovers. Focusing on the infamous titles only released on VHS & some incredible collectors this makes a simple but terrific documentary. Filled to the brim with odd but fascinating interviews with those still heavily involved with VHS both collecting & screening it. An insightful documentary that clearly shows VHS ain't dead!! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member How do all of these nerd guys look exactly the same? The talking heads approach isn't able to sustain an entire feature. Lucky I was real into the topic I guess but I felt bad making anyone else watch this with me.
