A peddler of bootleg heavy-metal recordings, Simon (Jason Andrews) scrapes out a meager living on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, N.Y., where he is one of many desperate characters. When Simon gets a visit from the beautiful Marty (Eddie Daniels), a figure from his past on Long Island, it's both a welcome and a jarring development. Intrigued and rattled by Marty's presence, Simon travels to the ocean with her, which stirs up deep emotions for both troubled souls.
