      Audience Member Very much like any old after school special. The acting was surprisingly good, but the movie was slow and not much happened. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member DEATH OF RICHIE - a 1977 TV Movie of the Week [remember those?] focusing on the downward spiral of a teen named RICHIE played by former teen heartthrob turned voice over actor and director ROBBY BENSON. This was one of a string of Public Service Announcement type films highlighting the BAD TRIP of Marijuana which of course will lead to LSD or worse. The acting is above average for these films with veteran actors BEN GAZZARA and EILEEN BRENNAN as the parents of RICHIE. I found the entire film on YOUTUBE and it brought back some fun memories.
