"Ride" is a film overstuffed with themes, ideas, and characters, but it works because it's made with the kind of urgency that comes from a filmmaker who has to tell this story and get it out on celluloid right now, or they'll bust.

Was the story original- no! there have been countless stories of Rodeos, drug addicts, strained family relationships, small town etc etc. There was nothing new in the story. Let's talk performance- senior actors save the show a bit, Ladies did a good job. The Lead, no comments. This film is a very good effort but sadly a total waste.
