This is a wonderful Sunday afternoon movie. Filmed beautifully and decent acting. Sure it's predictable but seriously who cares? Which movie isn't really predictable nowadays. Watch and enjoy and be filled with envy that you aren't in Australia (unless you are).

The story is nothing new and the performances are a little uneven, but the positivity of Rip Tide is contagious, while its standing as a modest piece of cinematic female empowerment (both in its narrative and off-screen creation) can't be understated.
