Dillon W Unbelievably well done. From the concept, to the acting, to the thoughts that linger for days after viewing, executed with masterclass touch. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/25 Full Review Hugo S Guatemala. After escaping her abusive father, a 13-year-old girl is imprisoned in an orphanage run by the government. She joins a tribe of girls wearing feathered wings who share the belief that an angel will release them from the claws of the oppressive system. Based on actual events, "Rita" examines the struggles of neglected children and the fallibility of the system that was expected to protect them. The movie is a dark-fantasy tale exposing real-world horrors that, in any circumstances, should be ignored. Trully heartbreaking! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/22/24 Full Review Lou G One of the most imaginative, creative movies I've seen in years. It's very sad, it's a tragedy, but well worth watching. An astonishing movie that stays with you long after watching it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/25/24 Full Review Read all reviews
