The fact that the actors would agree to this trash script is insane. But then again, they can’t act. I am beyond annoyed I wasted my Tuesday night on this junk. I have an awful headache because of how hard my brain had to work to understand why the this movie would be released. I wish the characters would’ve just died immediately so the movie would end. I’m not even trying to be mean but honestly I feel betrayed because the trailer catfished me. See more Taj V @RT78935420 Oct 5 For all intents and purposes, “River of Blood” should have been a really solid movie in the “Cannibalism” genre…it was filmed beautifully, had very attractive actors, and a tried and true premise. (Naive but adventurous tourists being led into danger by a local guide - who may or may not be “in on it.”) “Where River in Blood” falls short is that none of the characters are particularly likable, so you’re sort of rooting for the Cannibals. Unlike a really fun genre movie such as Eli Roth’s “Green Inferno” this film plays it straight and completely humorless. The whole time I watched it (which seemed a long, dull slog ) I kept thinking this movie could have been so much better! See more Read all reviews
