If you have watched Goosebumps, and have read Goosebumps and you probably wondering what's this movie like? Well one thing comes to mind...cringe. Yes cringe, most of the time I found my self laughing, not because the scenes are so hilarious, it's just so cringe to watch that the only acceptable thing to do is laugh, not only the scenes but the actors aswell, there acting isn't the very best to say the least so it makes the scenes fare more cringe because their acting is so awkward. The story itself seems like something you will see on the Disney Channel, I would like to say Disney plus but there you get I mean, or it feels like something from Nickelodeon for Halloween, the majority of the movie seems like a comedy, there is so much small things happening that the story doesn't feel solid at all. And the gel on the main character is just unparallel! And what was Bella Thorne's role in this movie? By the end of the movie you will just sit there and be like, was that it? This movie is fun, but not a good film, it definitely doesn't feel like a big budget movie at all in any way, especially with it cinematography, it feels like you watching Nickelodeon

It’s corny and dumb and feels like a movie that should be made for nickelodeon. The whole movie looks like a high school play with cheap looking sets, cheap looking costumes, and bad acting. The goosebumps movies in theaters were fine but these direct to dvd movies are a waste of your time. Not even sure if kids will find much to enjoy here.

I bought this at a used dvd store and I wish I didn't. I actually wanted the Monsterville one and since I liked that one, I thought this would be as good. Wrong. The story made no sense at the beginning, the whole plot was stupid... the two "romantic interests" had no chemistry. And honestly, the lead guy is ugly... not funny and lame.

as far as straight-to-TV movies go for kids this is one of the better efforts R.L. Stine of Goosebumps fame has another horror story with a few Disney Channel alumni You have Roshon Fegan, Bella Thorne, Calum Worthy with some others you might recognize Max is trying to make it through this Halloween while also befriending two ghost siblings dealing with his pressuring parents, his bullying brother, and on top of it winning the girl of his dreams that's only the tip of the iceberg when an evil ghoul wants to summon more and enslave mankind it's actually kinda funny when Max gets possessed a few times making room for a few visual gags the siblings have good chemistry working together to find out what happened to their parents plus Bella Thorne isn't just the typical love-interest because on more than a few occasions she still manages to see Max for what he is despite the rough patch he has getting her attention I got plenty of giggles, the effects are fine for what they are, and the movie really loves the holiday Max also sees that no matter how much trouble he gets himself into because of the spirits that surround him he can always count on the two siblings this was a lot of fun to watch!

Beginning was odd 10 minutes of telling another story which might have been a previous movie. Then this goul devises a way to set himself free of the cemetery. I've seen Stine's do better.
