Synopsis
Sara Stanley (Sarah Polley) is sent to stay with her aunts at Avonlea, the family farm on Prince Edward Island, while her father defends himself against charges of embezzlement. Despite the strict discipline of her Aunt Hetty (Jackie Burroughs) and the animosity of cousins Felix (Zachary Bennett) and Felicity (Gema Zamprogna), Sara adjusts to life in the sprawling community. She soon teams up with yet another cousin, Alec (Cedric Smith), for a series of pranks against their hostile relatives.
