Audience Member Loved the movieeee.... Thankgod someone has made a different movie in bollywood! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Best movies just like catching fire Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review mirza m With this film Bollywood has entered a new level of "revenge" stories, as the lead of this film is out to hunt down a white tiger who killed his brother in the Sundarbans jungles. Well the main concept may sound cheesy enough, so keeping all logic aside the proceeding start off on a decent note, with some creepy sequences & thrill moments to support. But half way through the movie seems to fall apart, with some random sequences & sub plots thrown into the mix. While the 1st half is still decent, the 2nd half turns into a full blown slasher film, with the same concept being repeated again & again in just different locations & a new cast member being killed off! & as expected it has some unintentionally funny sequences as well. Among the performances Anubhav Shukla and Himarsha as the tracker give in a decent performance. While the rest of the cast hams to no end! Turning even the most intense sequences to downright laughable. This is the film, where I can say they have done a excellent technical job! From the wonderful cinematography of Michael Watson to the delicious CGI & action sequences of Allan Amin. Even the excellent background score by John Stewart sets up for some tense mood of the jungle. Actor turned Director Kamal Sadanah has made a brave attempt in trying a familiar concept in a novel setting but fails in executing due to the lack of a gripping screenplay and a thrilling narration resulting in a parody of the Western films of the same genre. Roar in the end has nothing much to roar about except a few thrilling sequences and a wonderful showcase of Sunderbans! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
