Audience Member In spite of the short runtime, this film feels a touch over-long. Still, it's good to see Karen Mok, and not in a slapstick comedy role. The story is pretty typical. Guy promises dead wife never to race again, but everyone is bound and determined to make him do it. There's a kid involved. And a lot of hanging out at the beach. I pretty much watched this because I'm a Mok fan, and she's quite good. But there's not much going on here. There is some beautiful street racing footage (especially during the finale). But the movie is marred by jarring editing, terrible music, and overuse of freeze-frames. An OK time waster, but nothing special. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
