Normally I hate "lol modern tech what" boomer jokes, but it's actually really funny watching these 90s time capsule characters react to and satirize all the best and worst trends in modern consumerism & pop culture. There's also plenty of meta humor about our obsession with nostalgia and the pros/cons of it. Not all of the humor lands, but there's certainly a lot more hits than misses. There's also a nice touching subplot about Ralph Bighead transitioning, which is refreshing and surprisingly considering how rare this kind of representation, let alone positive rep is present in tv/films, ESPECIALLY animation.
