Michael Esposito Chicago Tribune Despite some nice performances ... it never gets out of the predictable low gear. Rated: 2/4 Oct 12, 2006 Full Review Andrew O'Hehir Salon.com It's a profoundly rich and beautiful picture, in its unassuming way close to a masterpiece. Sep 20, 2006 Full Review V.A. Musetto New York Post Director-writer Pablo Tapero keeps the proceedings low-key and realistic. He doesn't hit you over the head with his ideas, yet he manages to say a lot about human nature. Rated: 3/4 Sep 8, 2006 Full Review James Plath Movie Metropolis Proves that Americans don't hold the patent on familial dysfunction, but it's also a sincere personal essay about writer-director Trapero's Argentinean family. Rated: 7/10 Aug 27, 2007 Full Review Marta Barber Miami Herald The cast doesn't look like a troupe of actors; it could easily be taken for an ordinary family with plenty of physical and psychological bumps and bruises, but always loving. Rated: 3/4 Sep 29, 2006 Full Review Eric Lurio Greenwich Village Gazette This is all about boredom, anger and sex, and what we get most is the first on the list. Audience Member good hearted road movie, not the best Argentine road movie I've seen recently, but enjoyable. The grandmother is charismatic, and her two daughters are troupers. The gordo driving the camper is long-suffering. The romantic triangles are a bit predictable, but the scenery and the car breakdowns are entertaining. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This was the film that introduced me to Pablo Trapero at the 2004 Toronto International Film Festival. It is a vibrant, very real slice of life following three generations of a family going to a wedding in rural Argentina. They travel in a small camper van and as a result several tensions and issues begin to flare up. Wonderfully told, this is terrific storytelling. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Família Rodante (Dir: Pablo Trapero) Não o melhor, mas um grande filme do melhor diretor argentino. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Acepable. 6 Fernandos Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Troisieme film de Trapero, Voyage en famille ne fonctionne jamais vraiment. Dommage. L'homme est meilleur en feelbad movies, definitivement. Dommage que son meilleur film, El Bonaerense, sur les derives de la police de Buenos Aires, ne figure pas sur flickster (4 etoiles).
