Sean L. McCarthy Decider Chieng’s observational comedy ranks quite high compared to his comedy peers these days, of any generation. Dec 21, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

jfk s Chiang suffers like most comedians, funny in the beginning then suck at the end. If you watch this you are watching the end of career Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/04/25 Full Review Peter R This show was profoundly appealing to me on three levels. Ronny’s insights into human behavior are astute and enlightening. His ability to be authentic and share heart centered feelings was very moving. And the best part is that he combines his intellect and his heart to make me laugh and laugh hard. I watched it the first time and just appreciated how intelligent he was. Then I watched it with my partner and we laughed so hard we had to pause the show a few times because we couldn’t hear and didn’t want to miss a thing. I highly recommend it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/25 Full Review Karen F Heck yes learn science and read books! From a Canadian friend who doesn’t like taxes but likes healthcare education and no guns🤩 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/30/24 Full Review Birithivy Y Ronny Chieng: Love To Hate It - 8/10. Ronny is one of my favourite Daily Show correspondents. He has this knack for doing angry humour really well, and he has high energy while doing so. This special helps give him more of a platform to do his Daily Show routine and character in a fleshed out manner. He touches upon several subjects: whether it be his personal life, politics, and cultural differences. It breezes by due to Chieng’s ability to give full energy and fervour from start to finish. You get a sense that, maybe, this could’ve focused on one specific topic. And that’s fair, because his other Daily Show correspondents that have had specials seemed to zero in on one topic within their own respective specials. I guess Ronny just wanted to hilariously vent for an hour or so, and that works hilariously well here. Its a great special if you’re a fan of his work, and even if you’re not aware of his work, you will definitely get some good laughs in there. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/28/24 Full Review michael g I loved it... the bad reviews kind of prove the point he was trying to make. People have got dumber instead of smarter with each generation. People do not read, study, or bother to learn anymore. They are angry because they are stupid and they don't know how the world works or how they are getting taken advantage of so they do things like storm the capitol. They believe all the AI videos and the Memes online because it's easier to shut off your whole brain and just put it on auto-pilot instead of actually being aware of how we got to this point as a country and a culture. His comedy unfortunately is just too smart for most people to get. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/26/24 Full Review Jenni L Most of it was boring, he’s not funny enough to sustain an entire show.
