A very atmospheric and slow character story. The main cast, real life partners are good and the location of snow covered woods set in some stunning scenery brings a strong sense of claustrophobia. You will probably guess what is going on early in the film but be patient because the ending is excellent.

The unexpected arrival of a troubled guest will forever change the courses of their lives. "Rose: A Love Story" is an unusual approach to the vampire subgenre. The movie is driven by the couple's suffering and daily struggles. A love story shaped by one of the most terrifying dramas of human condition: illness. Dark and tender!
