Royalteen is a love story about living with your mistakes, conquering your fears and breaking the internet. When prince Karl Johan (Mathias Storhøi), Kalle amongst friends, and newcomer Lena (Ines Høysæter Asserson) start to develop warm feelings for each other, Lena is charmed but also skeptic, for many reasons. Party prince Kalle is a regular figure in the tabloids and the gossip blogs -- one of them was run anonymously by Lena herself, until she was exposed. Lena is painfully aware that dating the future king might put them both in an impossible situation and she has not told Kalle or anyone else about her even bigger secret, which is also the reason why she moved from her hometown.

Royalteen knows exactly what kind of movie it wants to be, and for that, it is able to thrive. While it’s a little flat in some places, the romance at its center certainly does it for me, and it’s nice to see them surrounded by truly good people...

What a terrible story and "non-ending ending". There are things called cliffhangers, that wasn't one, that was just the video description of "running out of time". YOu know Theo is her son from minute 1, so the big twist is there's no twist and yet the whole movie turns around that. I honestly don't get why Netflix bought the rights to this.

I watched the movie and it reminded me of another show on netflix very closely but didn't do it so well. Young Royals. Even using the same sets AS WELL as the same songs. the big difference is it being a straight romance and not a queer one.
