John Leonard New York Magazine/Vulture ... Rudy seems to suggest that such passionate mood swings are nothing more than lint in the navel and wax in the ears of a Great Man being grandly operatic. Jan 30, 2018 Full Review Cory Woodroof 615 Film A cheap sizzle reel of hero worship and political myth-making; telling in its utter inability to find anything particularly laudable about Rudy Giuliani in flashbacks of his spotty career in public service as a draconian attorney-turned-mayor. Audience Member Howlingly bad. Instead of acting like Guilani, James Woods acts like James Woods. The script is bad. The dialogue is bad. The pacing is bad. And as an alleged puff piece it makes Rudy look like an asshole. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member If a dry fart in an elevator was given the cinema treatment, it would be this movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member There's no excuse these days for this sort of shallow, cardboard dialogue, poorly lit scenes, and amateurish cinematography. I've seen student films with higher production values. The acting was wooden, and that's me being complimentary about it. There's nothing here to like. It's a sham movie, made for all the wrong reasons, that contains zero substantive character arcs, zero plot lining and zero pay off for the audience. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I've seen countless movies in my life, some good, some great, and of course, some not so great. Of all the movies I've ever seen, this was by far the worst. How in the world did this get released? The story was unintentionally laughable, and as bad as that was, the acting was somehow worse. Trust me, we only have a limited amount of time on this Earth, please don't waste a minute of it on this movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was a true masterpiece James woods did a very wonderful as Rudolph Giuliani and to be honest this movie was political hardcore and I love it. it's about his life from the U.S. attorney and mayor from ups and downs so FIVE STARS. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/06/20 Full Review Audience Member A good film, James Woods is great as usual! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
