Eric K Love him or hate him. Ronnie Dobbs deserved to have his story told. He just gets a little drunk sometimes. You know how it is. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/05/24 Full Review Patrick K It's the best movie you've never heard of. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review SpontaneousWeasel Irreverent humour is the order here with a barrage of sketch comedy mixed into a central plot in which a reality TV star comes to terms with his fame. The surprisingly good cast do their best but a few exceptional moments, I found the screenplay and improvised comedy mostly falls flat. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/03/23 Full Review Audience Member 3.4 this had to be the inspiration for trailer park boys Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/08/21 Full Review Audience Member I watched this movie, expecting nothing..I got a whole lot of laughs- and omg, I'm still laughing and catch myself telling friends who don't have babysitters "ain't you got a tv?!" -Years later?! This movie is mach level #TropicThunder, #Friday, or you'll get it if you get it or you just won't Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Mr. Show is hilarious, but sadly, this movie is not. I was really disappointed in this movie. I loved the Ronnie sketches in Mr. Show. I laughed my head off every time. Especially the "Ya'll Are Brutalizing Me" song. However, the movie just didn't work. I heard there were crazy politics in the editing room and crap, who knows what's true. My gut tells me that they could win a couple points with a directors cut, but I don't think it would rise to the legendary status that Bob and David could have pulled off.
