Audience Member Adept British ensemble film, fast-moving (if a tad bit stagebound). Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member The usual crowd of a quiet British bar find themselves solving a mystery to save an acquaintance from being executed unjustly during the course of one night. Though it is a rather entertaining and interesting thriller that seems to draw inspiration from the 'claustrophobic' works of Hitchcock, there is a slight unbalance between the comic factors and the thriller elements that lets Saloon Bar ultimately slip into an untimely farce. This is what makes it disappointing and also contributes to a pretty infuriating lack in tension. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
