Thirteen-year-old Sam Cleary (Javon "Wanna" Walton) suspects that his mysterious and reclusive neighbor Mr. Smith (Sylvester Stallone) is actually a legend hiding in plain sight. Twenty years ago, Granite City's super-powered vigilante, Samaritan, was reported dead after a fiery warehouse battle with his rival, Nemesis. Most believe Samaritan perished in the fire, but some in the city, like Sam, have hope that he is still alive. With crime on the rise and the city on the brink of chaos, Sam makes it his mission to coax his neighbor out of hiding to save the city from ruin.

As a huge Stallone fan, i wanted to love this. Unfortunately, the script looks like it was written by a 12 year old, while playing with his action toys. If you can ignore that(and the few cringe moments here and there), it might be worth to watch and pass some time. Just don't expect much from a movie that is clearly trying to capitalize on the superhero genre. They did give it a nice twist at the end tho, so props for that.

Very much on brand for a Stallone-led superhero/villain film. The plot twist was able to be seen from a mile away, but the action, character development, and overall entertainment factors all still hold up decently well.
