Audience Member What I got to say about "Sam's Song" is one movie that is so bad it's pathetic . "It's boring, dull, and atrocious." The performances by the whole cast is not good. The directing by John C. Broderick is not the best. The screenplay is poorly written. "There is not character development at all!" The cinematography is okay but some shaking cam in some scenes. Though the film is rather crudely made and the audio muffled from youtube, it shows De Niro at his less skilled age. Great for fans and students of cinema alike. Footage from a different De Niro film was tacked onto the beginning, with DeNiro's character murdered within the first 5 minutes. The rest of the film is his character's brother seeking vengance.
