The Greens live in a sleepy Wisconsin town where Norman (Tom Irwin) works as a farmer, and Ingrid (Glenne Headly), a former pianist, now works as a choir director. Their daughter, Rachel (Madeline Zima), is a gifted violinist. The eccentric Ingrid has always had many conflicts with the town's more conventional citizens, and Rachel worries that she is also becoming an oddball like her mother. A local concert, however, helps the family and the town come together in harmony.

Audience Member Occasionally a little sticky but overall enjoyable drama of coming to grips with both who you are and your place in your community and the greater world. Good performances from all three leads, Jane Powell adds a lovely touch whenever she is on screen, regrettably those moments are few. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Not that good, but not horrible. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Ok the acting wasn't good, and the subject wasn't one that grasped me and kept me interested, but the movie wasn't horrible. Yes it is a family flick with a good message and the acting wasn't horrible (though it wasn't good either) but the movie drug and wasn't one that I would watch again.
