Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times This movie is awesomely stupid, totally implausible from a scientific viewpoint, and a shameful waste of money. Rated: 1/4 Oct 23, 2004 Full Review Kristin Battestella InSession Film Though flawed in not focusing on the taut science fiction triangle; references to Hector, Troy, and the original fight over a woman accent the man versus man, man versus nature, and man versus himself conflicts. Jul 25, 2023 Full Review Serge Daney Cahiers du Cinéma [Donen] has not made a good film, certainly, but he has not managed to make an entirely impersonal one, either. Sep 14, 2022 Full Review Daniel Barnes Dare Daniel The film assembles an amazing armada of above-the-line talent for a passionless, murky and uninspired Adam and Eve in space parable. Rated: 1.5/5 Jun 28, 2022 Full Review John Brosnan Starburst For all its flaws -- and most of the flaws involve the cast -- and the fact that we're seeing a shortened version of the original movie, Saturn 3 is still something of a major achievement. Sep 25, 2019 Full Review Heather Wixson Daily Dead It's easy to see why Saturn 3 has achieved a certain type of cult appeal over the years- it has an incredible cast, an interesting killer robot running amok, some cool ideas, and a beautiful score by famed composer Elmer Bernstein. Rated: 3/5 Jan 8, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews

Mark W Good visuals and story make this a reasonable watch. The actors are woefully miscast, especially Kirk Douglas. Better than I expected but not one to rewatch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/19/24 Full Review Bruce J In the 80's it was a must watch to sneak a peek of FF. Sad to see Kirk Douglas make such a "B" movie. It is good for a lazy watch on a snowy Afternoon. It passed the time Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/26/24 Full Review Monsol E Farrah wears lots of thin/sheer outfits in this....and that is the only good thing I can possibly say. Everything about this is WELL below average, even for the time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review deke p big 3 cast. Interesting Rogue Robot & threat of A.i. threatening human space ship crew. in Space container. But the 1980s style doesn't age well 42 years later. Giving generous 3 1/2 stars cuz too disparaged by 2022 standards if CGI, etc) . Never saw before 2.26.2022 TV The Movie Channel. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member The plot summary makes it sound like a comedy. Maybe it should have been. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member It's as bad as I remember it all these years later. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
