Charlie A @Charlie-Chookins 1d Savageland was a random movie I found online but very good and that surprised me. It kept me questioning everything, with a mystery that stayed tense and interesting from start to finish. The effects were good enough that it didn't break the immersion. The story was vague enough that I was coming up with my own theories as the movie played. I did like how information was revealed over time, maintaining tension and curiosity the whole time. I did remove half a star since they kept lingering on dead animals, specifically the dog; that made me sad. Not a perfect movie, but definitely a hidden gem if you enjoy atmospheric, mystery-driven, supernatural horror. See more Big D @Drazker 1d To start, personal issue i had with this mockumentary is I feel the grand reveal of what happened to the town of 57 was way too soon. This didn't allow for the proper twist to set in as a viewer. I really enjoyed the concept and different approach to telling a gruesome story, differing from the standard "Slasher Serial Killer" motto. This film was very well executed, but could of used a bit more build up. Overall i had a good experience and would recommend this movie to any who have a passion for low budget projects with exceptional taste in twisted slow burn horror. 4/5. But overall, pretty good watch if you're looking for something different. La película es bajo presupuesto y tiene algunas fallas obvias pero la forma en la que aborda su historia sencilla sin caer en pretensiones ni cosas raras mas allá de entretener a la audiencia la hacen muy digna de ver. No sheriff would have stars on his collar and sergeant stripes on his sleeve! REALLY!. Lol From the triple exposed film to the fake blood it's Very obvious and very poorly done. That camera is one I know but the first thing the show in the program is the negatives all b&w. From the phony bandaid on Salazars hands to almost all interviews with no emotion and at least another 30 or so obvious mistakes I could point out this was very badly done. I hope the camera rental wasn't too expensive. This was pitiful. See more Read all reviews
