This was a lazy, dated, and unoriginal. It leans heavily on the formula that made the original movies work but this one had no imagination. The jokes feel like a checklist of, what’s the latest meme, rather than a thoughtfully crafted satire.

A kind of flattening effect is quickly achieved where the relatively more inspired horror parodies are sandwiched between edgy jokes at the expense of the soy and the woke.
