In addition to all the accurately negative reviews, at the 21:43 mark, Navy Seal Master Chief exhibits no muzzle control and actually passes the semi auto rifle across one of his team when passing the rifle over to him. That was my first flag. Horrible trigger control - fingers out of the trigger guard unless you're firing (as opposed to arguing, yelling, stomping around, etc.). The whole "air support" scene is a cluster. 2 F18's Hornets are launched ("...be advised, 2 Hornets launched from carrier and are enroute...") from the carrier to support and stock footage of first, the F18's, the a pair of F15's (can't launch from a carrier), then a pair of F14's (come on guys...., ugh), then a pair of F16's (can't launch from a carrier), then an F22????? F22 wasn't even in service yet and the first plane wasn't delivered until 2012 - over 20 years later than Desert Shield. A-10's shown moments later (not carrier launched). Looked like a French Mirage F1 was added in. Wasn't the premise that the Seal Team went in covertly, "in and out" with limited air support if needed? Ugh, made it to 38:23 of the movie. Here are just a quick few errors made during the filming of this movie..... Set in 1991 at the start of Operation Desert Storm, the plot is a unimpressive rehash of Navy Seals. The special effects were as bad as the acting and incoherent cut scenes. I had to cut it off after I noticed the prop guns were bought at a toy store(they had red plastic rings on the barrels). On prend des images d'archives retouchees a la palette graphique (et encore pas toutes), un echantillon de ce que l'amerique fait de mieux en matiere de plastique humaine decerebree, melangez... et vous obtenez un gros n'importe quoi a la sauce patriotique. Le scenario se resume a ca : un groupe de seals s'en va faire peter un maximum de trucs dans l'irak de Saddam. Et puis c'est tout!! Du coup, pour combler d'immense vide - dut aussi au manque cruel de scenes d'actions, un comble pour un film de ce genre - on assiste a une succession de flashbacks entrecoupes de scenes d'archives meme pas montees et tres souvent inutiles. Bref, on se cogne le couplet patriotique, la scene de menage dechirante avec les larmes (qui dure elle tres longtemps), les flashbacks equeurants et tout un tas de sequences plus inutiles les unes que les autres en se disant que ca va bien finir par peter et quand enfin ils se decident a aller boter le cul de ces enfoires d'irakiens, on a juste droit aux memes images de bombardement aeriens que skynews ou cnn ont passes en boucle des annees durant... ca m'enerve!!
