After several years of not seeing one another, the Kwan family agrees to reunite for a road trip from Los Angeles to the Grand Canyon. Mom (Zhu Xi Juan) and Dad (K.K. Wong) fly in from Hong Kong. The elder daughter, Jenny (Yvonne Teoh), has come from New York City, even though she should be working at her floundering travel agency. And the vivacious younger daughter, Maggie (Jo Chim), plans to use the trip to spring some big news on everyone. The journey is anything but smooth.
