See more 07/13/2020 Based on one of the best anime of the 80s, this movie is more a reboot than adaptation. Many important events were omitted from the anime and manga, the original character and setting designs were altered and tried to summarize the largest arc of 32 episodes in a 1 hour and 30 minute movie. Still the new designs were modern and acceptable, as were the animation and the soundtrack.
